Like a small carousel escaped from a 19th century fairground, CARROUSEL MODERN STYLE N°5 brings fantasy, color and poetry into our interiors.

With its tapered silhouette, burnt orange and deep black stripes, delicate gold accents, and red twisted cord, this handcrafted, hand-painted portable lamp has an instantly recognizable character.

But the real surprise lies inside: a vibrant botanical design created with MODERN STYLE No. 5 wallpaper from Joli Jour Paris.

An exclusive creation by @aroundfiveflowers for Joli Jour Paris, a cross between a decorative light fixture, a handcrafted piece, and a little treasure from a flea market.

Old-fashioned carousels had an incomparable charm. Their striped canopies, delicate ornaments, and vibrant colors evoked a world of celebration, music, and wonder.

The CARROUSEL collection reimagines this world.

With its conical shade measuring 23 cm in diameter, the MODERN STYLE No. 5 model draws on the design elements of antique lampshades in a decidedly decorative interpretation.

The exterior is made entirely of hand-painted art paper. Wide orange and black stripes alternate in a regular pattern, highlighted by thin gold trim that accentuates the elegance of its silhouette.

The metallic finishes with copper and gold highlights complete the look, while the red twisted electrical cord adds an extra touch of whimsy.

A small yet spectacular light fixture—without ever being imposing.

It is in this encounter between two universes that the originality of CARROUSEL MODERN STYLE N°5 resides.

On the exterior, the hand-painted design creates a bold, almost theatrical geometric pattern.

Inside, the MODERN STYLE No. 5 wallpaper by Joli Jour Paris features a lush garden in warm tones.

Large, fiery-orange leaves intertwine with clusters of black berries and a network of dark, graphic lines. The pattern, inspired by Art Nouveau, plays with contrasts and the movement of plants.

The orange complements the exterior stripes, while the black accents create a subtle connection between the two designs.

A thin gold trim highlights the edge of the lampshade and adds the finishing touch of elegance.

A true game of decorative hide-and-seek: on the outside, the precision of stripes; on the inside, the exuberance of a garden.

At Joli Jour Paris, we love to think outside the box when it comes to interior design, repurpose items, and create a dialogue between patterns and objects.

With CARROUSEL, our MODERN STYLE No. 5 wallpaper leaves the walls to adorn the interior of a handcrafted light fixture.

A new way to experience this botanical pattern, whose colors and details take on a whole new dimension when they follow the shape of the lampshade.

The design is revealed beneath the pendant light and also appears around its edge, creating a lovely orange floral border.

We love this unexpected combination of Art Nouveau-inspired wallpaper and a light fixture reminiscent of old-fashioned carnivals.

A joyful blend of eras, styles, and craftsmanship.

With a diameter of 23 cm, CARROUSEL MODERN STYLE No. 5 is a small pendant light that certainly stands out.

Its warm, contrasting colors allow it to add a touch of character to a wide variety of interior styles.

In a bedroom, it replaces a traditional bedside lamp and adds a unique touch on either side of the bed.

In a living room, it complements a velvet armchair, an antique console table, or a bookcase filled with books and vintage finds.

In an entryway, it becomes an unexpected decorative touch, while in a reading nook, it creates an intimate and unique atmosphere.

It pairs particularly well with dark woods, terracotta tones, deep green, natural materials, and antique pieces.

And for fans of bold decor, why not pair it directly with the MODERN STYLE No. 5 wallpaper to create a dialogue between the walls and the light?

’s CARROUSEL MODERN STYLE No. 5 comes with a 2-meter red twisted-pair power cord, complete with a switch and plug.

This design allows you to hang it wherever you want, near an outlet, without needing an electrical connection to the ceiling.

Above a nightstand, next to an armchair, or in a corner of the room—it can be placed wherever you like.

Its E14 socket is designed to hold a compatible LED bulb, which is not included.

An ideal solution for adding an extra light source while making a decorative statement.

‘s CARROUSEL is one of those objects that people choose as much for their beauty as for their function.

When turned off, the portable lamp looks like a miniature circus tent, with its hand-painted stripes, gold accents, and graphic silhouette.

When turned on, it highlights its interior decor and adds a warm, inviting glow to the room.

The contrast between the geometric simplicity of the exterior and the lush vegetation of the interior makes this light fixture a piece worth exploring from different angles.

Every detail adds to its charm.

Entirely handmade by @aroundfiveflowers, CARROUSEL MODERN STYLE No. 5 celebrates artisanal craftsmanship and the joy of unique objects.

From the exterior painting on art paper to the interior finish with our wallpaper, every step contributes to the creation of a unique light fixture.

The slight variations inherent in handcrafted work are part of its identity and reflect its artisanal nature.

This collaboration embodies the spirit of Joli Jour Paris: expressive patterns, unexpected combinations, a certain decorative freedom, and a desire to create interiors unlike any others.

Each CARROUSEL MODERN STYLE No. 5 light fixture is handcrafted to order, specifically for your purchase.

From the meticulous painting of the lampshade to the interior lining with our wallpaper, each step requires time, precision, and special attention.

Delivery time: approximately 3 weeks from the date of order, including manufacturing and shipping.

Just a little patience, and you’ll be able to welcome a piece made especially for you into your home.

MODERN STYLE CAROUSEL No. 5 combines a touch of the carnival, a great deal of craftsmanship, and a generous dose of bold decor.

Since each piece is handmade, slight variations may occur, which contribute to its artisanal charm.

CARROUSEL MODERN STYLE No. 5, a handcrafted portable lamp inspired by 19th-century carousels, as striking as it is poetic.

Its 23-cm conical shade is entirely hand-painted with wide stripes of burnt orange and deep black, delicately accented with gold.

Inside, a surprise!
