LAUNCH IN FRANCE AND EUROPE, INTERNATIONAL SOON
Passionate sisters, Aude and Ariane Malbat bring JOLI JOUR PARIS back to life.
A few years ago, Aude launched her boutique, a gallery of curiosities that extended into a virtual shop window on Instagram. Today, JOLI JOUR PARIS has become a brand, true to the spirit of poetic and singular places, places where each object tells a story, a unique signature that has become a matter of course.
Aude is a multi-faceted creator: textile designer, stylist, painter, photographer. Ariane, on the other hand, is a seasoned human resources professional, having worked for Airbus and Chanel.
The story of JOLI JOUR PARIS began with Aude’s intuition. In early 2024, she offered her Instagram community a new approach to wall decoration through a “mosaic” wallpaper. Shaped in squares, it revolutionizes the genre and allows for every freedom. It was an instant hit!
This warm welcome was a wonderful opportunity for the two sisters to fulfill a long-cherished desire: to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure together.
Their project: to offer unique and eclectic creations for the home, including wallpaper, textiles, furniture, lighting and other curiosities, inspired by the arty style and sensibility of Aude Jolijour.
A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués, Aude Jolijour has been exploring painting, photography, interior and textile design for 30 years.
His mantra? To reveal the soul of a place. Her inspiration comes from Norman skies, weathered materials and old, decrepit walls. Her dream is to transform every space into a poetic, timeless work of art.
A creative jack-of-all-trades, she builds eclectic worlds where every detail awakens an emotion. Passionate about subtle nuances, Aude has always devoted herself to exploring colors, textures and atmospheres.
It’s in this spirit that she has designed each JOLI JOUR PARIS pattern, creations that intertwine and complement each other.
Far from the traditional wallpaper strips, JOLI JOUR PARIS proposes a concept that breaks the codes: the mosaic square. Born from the simple idea of wall collages that Aude creates at home to draw inspiration, it’s designed for those who want to personalize their living space in a unique and artistic way.
Easy to lay, each square can be installed edge-to-edge in a single gesture, letting your creativity run wild. Whether you arrange them as a single motif or in a mix, right-side up or upside down to play with rhythms, the possibilities are endless. Aude Jolijour has assembled her patterns and accessories into coherent collections, offering boxes to simplify the choice and draw inspiration from the models on offer. So everyone can create a space in their own image, while retaining the unique JOLI JOUR PARIS signature.
At the heart of the range, non-woven mosaic wallpaper comes in two formats: 48 x 48 cm squares in a box, and 100 x 100 cm artist’s squares. Manufactured and printed in France, and available in matte or washable finishes, these squares combine quality, durability and respect for the environment.
JOLI JOUR PARIS also offers furniture, objects, lighting and textiles for the home.
Each collection is a universe in its own right, designed to transform a space into a coherent whole. The idea is simple: to enable each person to create an ensemble that reflects his or her personality, where the pieces interact with each other to tell a unique story. The brand is designed around 3 universes:
