Toile Vagabonde's collection entitled "Photo d'Artiste - Trouville" is a tribute to this resort through the lens of artist Aude Joli Jour.

"Where sky and sea become entangled, a deep blue that fades to a leaden gray, a chaotic dance of light and shadow.

The narrow, winding lanes wind like labyrinths.

The fishermen's houses, modest relics, whisper of simple lives, fragments of existences of poetic banality.

On stage, these pretentious villas, frozen in their old-fashioned elegance, echo my contemplative strolls, taking me back to what I was, what I wanted to be. At least I think so...

Solemnly erected umbrella tents and century-old cabins stand watch, unchanging, like sentinels of the past.

When the beach was king.

At the far end, the Roches Noires hotel, massive and silent, teems with memories. A few famous ghosts still roam there, dragging with them the echoes of a bygone era.

Here, time flows backwards. Everything is there, motionless and vibrant, like a painting that can be deciphered endlessly.
