Toile Vagabonde's collection entitled "Photo d'Artiste - Les Plaisirs Démodés" is a tribute to forgotten places through the lens of artist Aude Joli Jour.
"It all started with the desire to collect images of what inspires me in my daily life and what I do with them in my work...
I find inspiration absolutely everywhere, all the time. I'm an insatiable contemplative, I can feed off the clouds in the sky, the birds chirping, the scent of spring flowers, the muffled snow falling in winter, the rain of a thunderstorm and the beauty of wet roofs, nothing inspires me.
Above all, I am deeply moved by the effect of time on things; the poetry of decaying walls, the mystery of an abandoned interior, the host of stories that all these places, each object, each of their cracks contain...
I'm in love with this suspended time, and in the end I recount my poetic wanderings in images, and fix this creative journey in my memory. "Aude Joli Jour
