Floral Wallpaper in the Kitchen – Modern Style No. 8 Joli Jour

Dark foliage panoramic wallpaper from the Modern Style collection in a designer living room

Floral wallpaper is making its way into the kitchen.

Long confined to its traditional role, the kitchen is now embracing all kinds of bold innovations.

Inspired by Art Nouveau and William Morris, the No. 8 floral wallpaper features a lush garden: large cream-colored flowers with delicate lines, intertwined with sage-green and grayish-blue foliage, accented with ochre and gold on a deep blue background.

Just one section of wall is enough to change the atmosphere. The kitchen then borrows the living room’s paintings, lamps, vases, and vintage tableware. It becomes a true living space—warm and unique.

Green Kitchen: An Enveloping Monochrome Palette

In this kitchen, the deep green of the lacquered woodwork echoes the foliage in the pattern, creating a monochromatic palette that envelops the room.

The shimmer of brass, dark stone, and black-and-cream hexagonal tiles add depth, while a touch of yellow is all it takes to brighten the space. The blue-and-green wallpaper takes center stage, like a life-size painting.

Vichy and earthenware: the country house vibe

Here, the atmosphere is that of a family home. Above a cream-tiled backsplash, the wallpaper becomes a mural, extending the garden all the way to the trailing plants on the shelf. The mustard-yellow gingham, the stoneware sink, and the casually arranged painted bouquets give the room a timeless charm, which the floral decor brings to life.
